Kim Wade, host of a talk-show at WJNT in Jackson, MS, used to be a black Muslim. Now he is a Christian, and says he will take any chance he can to get in front of a microphone and alert everyone to the fact that Obama is working toward a One World Order. He believes that as soon as he can, Obama will turn America over to Islam. If anyone can get this man some media exposure, please do. He knows the Muslim religion and is speaking out against it overtaking America; he also outlines Obama's actions in moving America toward becoming an Islamic nation.

When dealing with liberals who have no real life experience with those who couldn't care less about others, I generally say to them that if the Kennedy's, Clinton's, and the Heinz's were TRULY democratic, as they proclaim themselves to be, they would not have MASSIVE amounts of wealth; they would have put their money into perpetual trusts to ensure that their favorite charities never had money problems again. Haven't found a democratic soul yet who can argue against that one!

NEW IDEA: I'm thinking voters need a "brand" that we can put next to a politician's name (thumbs up, or thumbs down) leting voters know at a glance who votes for excessive taxes and who does not.
I'm using the Cap & Trade vote (HR2454 6/26/09) because the officials who voted "Aye" apparently are CONTINUING to ignore us. I'm going to make up a car magnet so that constituents in my area see it as I drive through the districts of these representatives. Hopefully, people will begin to understand the "branding" and the image of who votes for taxes will remain with them into the voting booth.
If you like this idea, please help yourself to it. As far as I am concerned, the more the merrier. Just help get the word out and let's get these thieves out of office.

Governor who refuses stimulus money involved in 3 lawsuits over this issue. One was brought by a student, one was brought by the SC School Administrators, and one is Sanford against the SC Attorney General.

Please suggest support for the Patrick Henry caucus.org begun by a 9/12'er who is a state legislator. This group is getting laws passed in states that specifically challenge the Federal government's infringements on states rights. They are pushing the challenges to the Supreme Court as quickly as possible as a way of putting politicians on notice that "we the people" will not tolerate the Federal government overstepping its constitutional boundaries. It is brilliant, and Judge Napolitano and Glenn Beck are enthusiastic about it.

Check out the Patrick Henry caucus.org. It was begun by a legislator who is a 9/12'er. This is a group getting behind legislators who want to challenge the Federal government when it oversteps the constitutional boundaries stated in the 10th amendment, and infringes on states rights. They are drawing the line in the sand and pushing issues up to the Supreme court as fast as possible. Please get the word out to follow their progress and push each state to follow suit.

South Carolina has many fine people, but desperately needs to vote some of the sitting Congressmen out. But first, we must make sure we have acceptable replacements for them. It's tough. If we vote for an independent, are we just taking votes away from the lesser of 2 evils, as Perot voters did? Good Republican of Democratic candidates would be preferable, but when have we seen that lately? 2 sites I have found are interesting: NOTA.org and GOOOH.com (NOTA = "none of the above", and GOOOH = "Get out of our House"). I'm leaning toward GOOOH because it would completely empty the House of incumbents in 2010. I like the idea of a quick and decisive wake-up call for DC...I just want to be sure we get quality replacements when the time comes.

Aspade...again: too much talk. Here's my idea (based on management principles): 1) Assess - we've done that; use the 10 - 50 changes voted for on this website as a basis for what this group wants; 2) Set goals; 3) Plan - get your core of workers gathered, determine priorities (keep them few and uncomplicated), put a plan in writing with measurable goals and anticipated timelines; 4) Put the plan in action!!!!; 4) Re-assess the situation frequently, making adjustments in the original plan as needed to reach the goal.
I was drifting away before because I was "wasting" too much time reading posts. Now that we are talking time management and goal oriented action, I'm back in "the treeline"! Thank you!

bubbaeinstein...mental illness is real, and much of it is treatable. True, friends are a wonderful resource in times of stress; but in times of stress, those with untreated mental illnesses need friends...AND professional help.
