That's such a helpful thing to hear. I'm looking to adopt a dog this coming fall, but I'm such a huge dog lover that I'm really nervous to actually take the plunge myself because I'm terrified I'm not ready or I don't have enough money or something is going to go terribly wrong. But I also want a dog so, so, so badly... Reassuring to hear that my anxiety (probably) means my heart is in the right place.
Hello are you me?? I've probably read each of those 20 times (at least!). What I love about them is that every time I re-read them, I understand and relate to them in such a different way.
Welp, now I know what I'm doing the rest of the day *googles "read a tree grows in brooklyn online"*
As a follow up to "moist gusset" (horrible enough...): gusseted crotch. Especially if you overemphasize the consonants. Bleeeeuuuuurrrrgggghhhhhh...
May I put in a quick plug for an actually delicious store-bought oat cake? And my apologies for sounding like an ad but... Effie's Oatcakes are delicious, especially with peanut or apple butter and a cup of English or Scottish breakfast tea. They're generally a bit overpriced but so so worth it!!
Don't know what it says about me that my first thought was wine bottle corks...
I experience the pup hunger as well-- human babies I can take or leave, but show me a French Bulldog and I am DONE! I just started pet sitting through this website I found called DogVacay and it has seriously helped the hunger, as well as provided some much needed extra $$. I've only had a couple experiences on it, so I might end up changing my mind and hating it, but so far, it's been amazing to hang with pups and get all the cuddles and kisses, but then get paid instead of having to pay! (Note-- this is not at all a paid endorsement of the site!)
"She is as thin as hunger and as raw as want."
And now I have goosebumps, despite the fact that it's January in Texas and therefore 73 degrees... SHIVER
POLAR SELTZER FOR THE WIN!! The number one best thing about New England is the availability of Polar Seltzer. Now that I live in Texas, I have to resort to ordering it from Amazon, which just isn't the same...
