I was an incredibly well behaved child and my parents were attentive parents and only had one child to worry about and I still slipped away and hid inside the circular racks at department stores. The amount of people who assert that they have literally never taken their eyes off their children in their entire lives are, quite frankly, liars.

Going to Vietnam for my honeymoon in just over a week!

Good luck! I will be in South Korea for exactly 70 minutes next week on my way to Vietnam! I have no idea what we are going to do if we miss our connecting flight besides panic.

I didn't really tend my yard that much this year because I am getting married next week and then will be away for two weeks after that. But! I threw a bunch of wildflower seeds around last year and nothing happened but this year there are wildflowers everywhere! And the strawberry plant that I planted last year that produced 0 strawberries but sent a million tendrils all over the place has like 10 teeny white strawberries growing on it! Everything will probably be dead when I get back from my vacation but it's nice to see that things will still grow without my supervision.

I discovered that bringing a candle into the woods to meditate on a summer night is a good way to get covered in bugs.

I have had good luck at NY and Co for dresses of varying formality - I got the red dress I wore at Christmas there and the dress I wore at my bridal shower there. I don't think you'll find anything black tie or gown length there, but otherwise you might want to check them out.

At least Anne McCaffrey was using it like the circumflex in French, it was denoting that a chunk of letters had been taken out. Everyone else, not so much.

I finished my community center! But now I'm kind of sad that I don't have a overarching goal anymore.

Saints Row 4 is the only one I've played too. The beginning is sort of a send-up of Call of Duty-esque tropes but once you become the President, it is all just deeply silly and fun. Most games have you slowly become proficient at skills until you are a killing machine, SR4 starts you around "Superhero" and you end up with godlike powers. Seriously, you will eventually learn to fly. Also, a fun soundtrack that you can make playlists out of including Opposites Attract, This Is How We Do It, and What Is Love.

Also you can change your appearance whenever you want, run around in weird mascot costumes, or completely naked. And the game stars Keith David as... himself. But he's also the Vice President.

You can skip ME1, I think you can get the ME1 decision importer comic book thing on both systems now. I would recommend, if you think you can stomach it, throwing ME1 on easy and playing at least the main story missions. And make sure you are playing as Female Shep, it honestly makes a ton of difference.

My last gen canon is:

All the Mass Effects
Borderlands 2
Saints Row 4
Halo Reach (although much of the impact of Reach comes from having played the other games)
Portal/Portal 2
The Last of Us
Fallout 3
Skyrim

And if you liked Borderlands, definitely play Tales From The Borderlands. So good!
