I almost rented a place like that! It's not unheard-of in Europe (and of course there are the old tenement apartments with bathtubs in the kitchen in New York).

The shower in the kitchen would have been maybe fine and kinda fun and cozy (facilitating shower beers!) but the toilet was outside the apartment, in a little closet in the stairwell. That would have been NO FUN.

Hello Toast I am ten days out from submitting my PhD dissertation and it is going FINE.
