Are you me?

The funny thing is my real relationships are like, completely the opposite, inasmuch as I am a commitmentphobic, highly educated world traveller expat type is who logistically impossible for anyone to even so much as date.

Oh god this post. THIS POST. I was a bit older than you, but started LJ around the same time. I later went on to date the boy who was my very first livejournal friend, some eight years later, after he moved into my area. I made SUCH good friends through LJ, and I felt like I could talk about things there that I just can't on other social media. Tumblr had a lot of the same feel but the lack of comments makes me really sad.

I've experienced approximately a million delays traveling in the midwest. But I have terrible motion sickness problems, and trains are the kindest to my inner ear, and very often I get to sit in two seats ALONE and sprawl all over them. So I don't really mind the delays.

Also that quiet car. THE BEST.

This is amazing and I remember watching that show and wanting that rainbow hair SO BADLY and I had no idea anyone else knew that it existed—and then somehow I never saw it again but I always, always remembered it. Nor did I have any idea that was Jewel Staite!

But yeah, this was nerding in the 90s and you are my people.
