I can't wait to get my house decorated!! We've had so many changes and upheavals lately that we had to postpone decorating but everything should be up by the end of the weekend. I am pretty much done with my shopping though which is a relief. I really, really wanted to start the Elf on a Shelf thing this year....maybe I can convince JP to find him when he's out running errands today....
It feels like forever since I've had one of those days....it sounds lovely and I'm thinking once I get my house in order and all the treats baked for tomorrow, we're going to laze about and have a Candyland day :)
You know, I've never really painted or decorated a house before. I'm really looking forward to doing that the next time we move!
I really want to go to a Zumba class, it just looks like too much fun to be exercise. Also a beer with a friend, outside of the house on a Thursday night sounds pretty heavenly.
I totally applied for that house party and didn't get it :( I love me some board games. I've been trying to enter the giveaway using the handy dandy buttons but it won't accept any of my clicks. Keeps saying that there is a problem and to try again and trying over and over still didn't make it work.
Well, my Dad had his surgery on Friday and all went well :) He was in
the ICU all day Friday so I didn't get to talk to him until Saturday,
but he called me on his way home from the hospital that afternoon. He
says he's sore but feeling good and he sounded in much better spirits.
I'll be sending all my positive vibes your way now :)
I feel you, boy, do I feel you. It's been a rough month here and patience just isn't my strong suit. Sometimes I'm able to put it out of my mind but not for long. My Dad's surgery is tomorrow so we finally made it to the big day, now just to get through tomorrow morning for that phone call.
I do have him which is definitely helpful but his Dad just went through his own health scare and subsequent surgery so it's been kind of sad around here. Luckily his Dad seems to be doing much better (he had two vertebrae removed from his back because he was in danger of becoming paralyzed and when he woke up from surgery he had no pain in his legs for the first time in years.). My Dad has surgery next Friday, first thing in the morning. I think he said he'll only be in the hospital over night and then he has six weeks of recovery. So I'm just trying to keep myself super busy this week so Friday will get here faster.
