This Continental Congress will have to answer that question and it will be one of the most difficult tasks we can imagine. The entire future of our nation will depend on the outcome of our decisions. We must be men and women with great fortitude and deep faith if we are to be successful. I sincerely believe that no man is capable of completing this task but with the guidance of our Creator.

Once again history has repeated itself in that a once free nation has become enslaved. Let us rise to the challenge and re-establish this Republic with a more secure future than originally created. Let us humble ourselves before God Almighty and beg His guidance.

My Dear Fellow Patriots:

Our nation is in grave danger at this very moment and the enemy is from within. History has revealed to us the true nature of governments instituted by men. We, along with our founding fathers can all agree that human nature will become self serving when given unchecked power. For this reason the elected servants of our Republic, through fierce debate, are constrained by the United States Constitution. The enumerated duties placed on our public servants in this document were created to govern our servants and severely restrict them from violating their oath of office.

The question of today is did this Constitution work? Do our public servants obey what they swore to uphold and protect from all enemies, domestic and foreign?

I must say I do believe it has failed...or have we, as a self governing people failed? Who is to blame that our government servants have turned on us? Is it our fault for we lacked the vigilance our founding fathers warned us to maintain. We are not past the eleventh hour and the sun is sinking fast. What are we to do short of taking up arms?
