So sad. But glad she is getting the help she needs and deserves. I'll bet she will make an awesome pet to whomever gets her. She will be so greatful for a nice home and will return the favor w/lotsa love.

Bought a futon a few years back from the folks at the Futon Factory. Really great people, it was a pleasure shopping there.

Glad they caught the sucker....but no way in he !! would I give some stranger a ride somewhere. In fact, I doubt I'd even roll down my window. Keep your guard up ladies!

I have a small one. I sometimes carry it w/me if I walk later in the eve. It fits in my hand easily. You can see the spark, and hear it when you hit the button, but you would have to touch it directly to someone (so you'd have to be close) to make contact. Not sure it would stop someone, but it sounds impressive when you hear it. I have always been curious as to what it feels like, but have no desire to try it on myself. I've asked hubby to volunteer, and he wasn't up for it either. :) So I guess I'll never really know unless I have to use it.

That's my thought too...but my other thought is that they maybe had been drinking or were possibly illegal.
