I would like to add my comments. I am a LEGALLY immigrated Canadian citizen. Soon to be an American citizen. My wife was sworn in as a citizen last month. She now get to put her hand on her heart during the pledge of allegiance, and during the Star Spangled Banner. I have to say it is one of the first times i have been jealous of my wife. We are equals, but I truly am jealous that she get to swear allegiance, and I do not --- YET.
I am grateful to have entered this great country legally, and am hurt by those who do not come in the front door, but sneak in through some devious means.
