I've been on the phone all morning. I home school our 9 year old son. He's learning the facts about how and why the America was established and on what principles. I live in Pa. and have contacted every voted in official to ask them to answer a question my son has. He know his history of the country. He has a copy of the Constitution. He wants to know why he's taught to believe one way and it doesn't seem to apply today. We as a family pray for our country and our soilders everyday. He says if he can't take God to school with him, he's not going to public school. We're not affiliated with any church. I've asked all I've called, and emailed to please explain to our children why they are taught the principles of the forming of America, and the Constitution, why it doesn't seem to apply today. I've requested that someone would take the inititive to make a web site geared to school aged children and teach them why they should be proud to be an American. They need to know what it means to respect what our country has stood for and has represented since it's beginning. I've had some interesting feed back. One told me to turn off Fox news when my child was in the room, so he wouldn't get upset. Another told me to contact the Board of Education. How do we stop confusing our children and teach them pride and respect for our country at the same time? These children are our future. No one in the goverment seems to want to answer me. How do I tell him where God is in our country?
