It is scary the pressure to set international standards in regards to taxes and regulations. Those days are upon us currently. Thanks to those who are in a position to resist and do so!
Right you are, because there are comparable "bridge to nowhere's" all over the united states. That is what Pork spending is all about. Byrd of West Virginia constructed interstates that to this day see almost no traffic. I regards to the bridge you speak of, I still do not suggest that it would be worth while in that how much does it cost to service this relatively small community already adapted to a ferry service. But agree in that everyone else is doing it and getting away with it and often on a much grander scale, take NASA for example.
Well, we now have "Hate Crime", which is probably the gimp leg the judge will attempt to stand upon. Of course this term can be applied as the judge deems fit, seeing that burning a flag is not hate speech but saying something homophobic or Islamaphobic will certainly be viewed as "hate crime".
Romney goes to Michigan and he has to lie and kiss up to the non-republican supporting union goons lobbying for more unemployment extensions until Americans get jobs and can start buying new cars again. Hey Romney, don't kiss their butts. Tell them that the Unions have never created a job in this country and that until the electorate of Michigan realizes it, those jobs are not coming back.
I am brewing up some Ron Paul coffee! and you gets better wake up and smell it! Time is running out!
I'd have to say, that you are way off. MSM doesn't care about democrats religion but are obsessed with the republican's religion and this is an obvious fact. I do agree with you though, I do not care about Romney's faith. But I do agree that the media is setting Romney up for the big one.
Many interstates now have the center cable which prevents cars from entering the oncoming traffic lane. It may of prevented this death. From what I heard from a state trooper, nearly every time a car crosses median into the other lane it results in a fatality. Very sad, but hopefully will slow down drivers especially during poor conditions.
Fact is when Pat played for Coach Knight, Coach busted his son plenty for some of sons stupid behavior, justifiably so. Now Pat is becoming like the father and there is nothing wrong with that. Hopefully the seniors take this talk to heart and step up their game. We all need to get our nads busted once in a while, that is what a coach does. As a funny sideline, Pat got in trouble for something while playing at IU and Coach Knight actually said in an live news interview that his son Pat, "was the reason some animals eat their young". As parents we can relate to that emotion with children. I personally respect Knight greatly although I think he went out (as coach of IU) a little bit a whiner and sued the University for being fired. Him getting fired was no more than a dose of his own medicine. Your employer has the right to fire an employee, period.
Was also included in "constitutional carry" the right to carry across state lines? I had just heard that when voted on that they were with-in one vote of approving, (this was a few years ago under Bush), and that Dick Lugar of Indiana was a vote against while even the Democrat Evah Bayh voted for it. Anyone that can carraborate this story?
Marx put it to words, but the concept of communism and socialism is inescapable. Many of the early societies in the United States such as the Harmonites, Rappites etc were founded on similar principles but did not have the manifesto as a operating manual. It is just silly "Idealism" that so many embrace. This "Idealism" fails to understand the reality of human nature, ie, evil and greed to name a few and tends to believe that the inherent good in all people will embrace a good idea, One could only wish.
