My Dad asked me to get him Thomas Piketty's Capital in the 21st Century! I did tell him recently that I would not be offended if he never reads it, because that is a loooooong book.

Mt. Washington in the summer isn't that impressive, tbh. Mt. Adams or any of the other presidential summits are much better, since you can't drive to the top of them.

Mt. Washington in the fall/winter is every bit as scary from what I've heard as this suggests.
