What a rip off. They sold us a lie that the bailout would preserve the company and jobs. 10s of thousands will lose their jobs, bankruptcy (DC style) came but only after dumping 50 billion into favored sons coffers.
Lies...lies...more lies

What a joke of a news conference today Friday May 22nd ( a week after she accused the CIA of lying). She stands by here comment but will not answer any questions on the matter. The reporters in the room were obviously pre-briefed to lay off and they did. Shame on them. Just to keep their seat at the table to get the crumbs.
She should speak to her accusation and answer to the American people.

NEW YORK — A Pakistani immigrant who a prosecutor called "Hezbollah's man in New York City" has been sentenced to nearly six years in prison for airing the Lebanese militant group's television station.
Javed Iqbal was ordered by a federal judge in Manhattan on Thursday to serve five years and nine months for putting the broadcasts of Al Manar among stations he sent to customers in New York.
Prosecutor Eric Snyder says Iqbal helped the TV station get out Hezbollah's message. He says the organization had killed more Americans than any other terrorist group before Sept. 11, 2001.
Iqbal lawyer Josh Dratel says his client didn't intend to aid Hezbollah as he tried to build his television station distribution company.
Hezbollah recently has taken a moderate tone before Lebanon's June 7 parliamentary elections.
I think it is kind of scary. I have no use for Hezbollah and believe they are an anti-Jew, anti American terrorist organization. That said, a federal judge is putting the guy in jail for airing the extremeist spew of hezbollah. There might be more to the story, always is, but it is a protected form of expression. Scary.

They took the money when they should have gone into bankruptcy. Now, after seeing the executive compensation on the chopping block they have the moxie to, "go it alone". Well, maybe capitalism is not dead. I say go it alone. But if the company fails they should get 0. Put it all on the table if you want my respect.

The Somali pirate who is to go on trial in the US will have his mother and family brought over to 'support' him and testify on his behalf. Then, we will offer them citizenship.

EXCLUSIVE: Senator's husband
cashes in on crisis
Chuck Neubauer (Contact)
EXCLUSIVE:
On the day the new Congress convened this year, Sen. Dianne Feinstein introduced legislation to route $25 billion in taxpayer money to a government agency that had just awarded her husband's real estate firm a lucrative contract to sell foreclosed properties at compensation rates higher than the industry norms.
Mrs. Feinstein's intervention on behalf of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. was unusual: the California Democrat isn't a member of the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs with jurisdiction over FDIC; and the agency is supposed to operate from money it raises from bank-paid insurance payments - not direct federal dollars.

And so far these are expressions???
The President's advisor, David Axelrod, when asked about the TEA parties. I think the current DC establishment fears the American people more than they fear the Islamist who train, plot, and try to kill us.
