Oh yeah, exactly. This is just reality. As nice as "love is stronger than hate" sounds, hate is really, really fucking strong in a lot of people in this country, and hate is usually fueled by anger. So. There you go.

I can't remember who said it earlier, I'd search it but I'm cooking dinner, because I guess we should keep eating until this planet just catches fire forever and dies, but someone earlier said that after Sandy Hook, the debate was over.

Dead kindergartners, dead college kids, aren't as important as "2nd amendment rights". That's it.

I just wish that someone would have sent me like, an official memo that our right to walk outside without being murdered was not all that important, because america.

There was a time when a random open thread like this would have been almost nothing but talk of today's shooting.
