Cheers, lovely! There was no mention of a massive stud and I can't feel it at all now it's healed, so don't let that put you off :) kx

You have no idea how many times knowing you were reading has got me out the door, so it's definitely mutual help!

Thanks, that's nice to hear! SF was utterly amazing. I'm still getting pangs of loss!

As for the beasties, something just crawled across my pillow and tickled the back of my neck. Trying not to freak out, but I may be dying...

Thanks so much, Hannah! Means alot to me coming from a pro like yourself :) It's good to know my decision to avoid the long narrative style is paying off- I find them inaccessible myself so I didn't want to inflict them on other people! Kx

It's good advice! I just hadn't realised how much I was trying to be away from the 'scene of the crime' until someone else pointed it out. With a problem like this I think you always have to be on your guard.

Thanks! I hated it for so long, too. It took 2 months of ten minute staggers to the park and back before it even remotely felt better, but once you can do 1 mile without getting winded, you can do 5. That may or may not be encouraging!

Yeah I really did. It's the city with everything, but feels like a nice town. Shame I couldn't see more of Canada, though. Next time...

The Grind was one of the hardest things I've ever done, but only because we got all competitive about it. Actually, no, even slowly it would be ridiculous! :)
