This testimony brought tears to my eyes! What a wonderful testimony indeed! Praise the Lord that this Soldier was able to be saved and his dear wife as well! Thank You, Lord!

Awesome testimony, Bro. Nick! It amazes me how God can take the worse of childhood and turn it around for His glory! I pray you will be able to meet those two sisters! That would be awesome :-)

Excellent post! It reminded me of:

~Matthew 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

Do we really hunger and thirst after God as we do our food and drink? Ouch! VERY convicting post indeed, Bro. Nick!

This was excellent and I so totally agree with you. In fact, it only takes a LITTLE arsenic to kill someone... so just a little worldliness can stunt spiritual growth. A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump!

Brother Nick, this is probably one of your best posts, in my lowly humble opinion! It stepped on my toes and I needed it! Where would the Lord's work be if all born-again Christians took to heart what is written here today!!! Oh my! The thought brings shivers down my spine!

Do we love Jesus the way we loved Him when we were first saved? You know ... that vibrant, exciting love where we couldn't wait to tell everyone what He had done for us! I know that the Lord healed my marriage after I was born again. I fell back in love with the man I had married. I know this "renewal" is possible because God gave it to me those many years ago. Just as He did this for me 28 years ago, I know that my spirit within me can have this renewed love for Christ!!!!

It brought to mind:

~2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Again, thank you for posting this convicting post!!!
