And, by the way, sir Walter O. Lituan, the coal-fired power plant mentioned here by Greenpeace is not located at the vicinity of Mount Malindang in Misamis Occidental.

Thank you for your comment here, sir Walter O. Lituan. There are of course plenty of disadvantages in using coal for the power plants. Just witness the enormous cases of cancer, asthma, and early deaths caused by the neurotoxin pollutants from the coal-fired power plants in Kentucky, Chicago, and other US states. Surely, these states have very stringent environmental laws and very efficient law enforces. But their efficiency can not mitigate the havoc wrought upon its people.

Am sure, these environmental laws will just lie dormant and it will be next to impossible that the power industry oligarchs will ever go to jail nor pay damages to the victims of this future holocaust in Mindanao.

According to the PHILHEALTH Region X, it comes out from their assessment that Dr Uy Hospital, a petite and modest health institution, is much better run, in terms of QUALITY, compared to the City hospital which is owned and managed by the City Government of Iligan.
