People who believe in God have been through many centuries of persecution. This includes the Jews in the Old Testament who were conquered by enemies who did not believe in God. It also includes Christians in the New Testament, who were persecuted by the Jewish leadership and the Romans. Persecution is a reality today for Christians in many parts of the world. Also, why do you try to take Christ out of the word Christian (Xtian)?
