The reason why there is no official language in the constitution is because the founding fathers thought the people of this country had enough common sense that they did not have to spell it out. You say there is no official language look again.

The Articles of Confederation = Written in English
The Constitution = Written in English
The Bill of Rights = Written in English
Every decision of any US court = Written in English

The very documents that founded this country were written in english. If you can not figure out that the founding fathers intended for english to be our offical language then your lucky that McDonalds put warnings on their coffee that the contents might be hot.
