Joe - The other app I like is Keynote (slide presentations). It's a brilliant way to share presentations in small groups.

Joe - question about "Key thing I push in Six Figure Cause Marketing is finding chains with lots of foot traffic": What would orgs do in areas that don't have chains - like Nantucket?

James - Thanks for the feedback. My clients, and my expertise, primarily revolve around small and mid-sized non-profits. Beth Kanter (who I'm sure you know) might be a better source for you.

Lisa - I'm glad you found value here. Please feel free to subscribe, if you haven't already.

To add to your comment that non-profits should "ask *only the people who really want to help with that particular cause*", social media is perfect because they can tune into the intereted people and relevant conversations that are happening right now!

Kyle - Excellent insights on this acquisition. Bloggers, businesses and nonprofits get (or will soon get) the power of targeted opt-in email marketing. Bringing in what their customers / prospects say about their brands on Twitter will better inform their investments in social media marketing, customer service strategies, and product development.

I'm curious about "almost two-thirds of Fortune 100 companies using Twitter and other social media platforms". Do you have more info on social media adoption stats?

Thanks - John

Oh, I never feel like an expert. I do, however, feel like a scientist.

My favorite part about social media the learning through doing aspect. I started a blog a couple of years ago, and learned one thing: You learn how to blog from doing it. And the more you do it, the better you get at it. Plus, it is fun!

My favorite idea on your list is being able to send a message to all the members of a particular list.
