Most of the people stealing intellectual property on the internet are the disenfranchised and downtrodden poor, who cannot afford to send more money to the Hollywood billionaires.

So it's all for the common good. Right, Hollywood? Right?

$215 million? That's preposterous. I'd love to know who okayed that in the first place.

The days of the military just spending money like it was going out of style are over. The defense procurement process is a complete fraud; it's an exercise in pissing away money as fast as humanly possible.

Uh, guys? He's right. Bush and the 2003 Congress restored the food stamp eligibility requirements that were restricted in the 1996 welfare reform bill.

I hate Obama as much as the next guy, but Bush IS responsible for making Big Government even bigger.

While this is all well and good, foreign aid is like .00001% of the federal budget.

It normally takes a few seasons for a rookie quarterback to settle into the NFL. It is to be expected.

So expecting this kid to be Peyton Manning in only two games is just retarded.

The supply of petroleum is not unlimited, I agree. But I have been alive long enough to remember being told back in 1974 that the world's supply would be gone in 5 or 10 years. They were declaring peak oil way back then, so you'll excuse me if I no longer believe we are anywhere close to running out.

That being said, turning corn into fuel is an insanely wasteful process. Do you know how much fertilizer, water and manpower goes into producing just a single gallon of ethanol? It's crazy and definitely NOT environmentally friendly.

The War on Drugs is over and drugs won. Let's get over it already; we're turning Mexico in a narco-terrorist state.

And terrorists don't need submarines to get here, they can just walk across the border like a million Mexicans a year. Hell, the 9-11 hijackers were all here with OUR PERMISSION.

And you don't need a manned submarine with all of the air requirements, etc. If I was doing it, I would design a tow behind submersible and trail it behind my fishing vessel. It would be outfitted with a GPS device and inflatable pontoons. If official vehicles came within a mile of my vessel, I cut loose the submersible. This triggers a timer on the pontoons which inflate 48 hours later and raise the the sub to the surface, which I then return to collect after the coast is clear. Hell, not only wouldn't it need an engine, periscope, air supply etc, it probably wouldn't even have to be water-tight so long as the cargo was in vacuum sealed pouches.

>>> all Air Force planes that emits fewer greenhouse gasses

How much more of this green stupidity must we endure?

Food prices are skyrocketing all ovber the globe; meanwhile the US, in an act of corporate welfare, is paying Archer Daniels Midland to turn corn into gasoline, the most retardely expensive fuel option possible.

When will you greenies finally realize that a) global warming is a hoax and b) that huge corporations are cashing in on this stupidity like never before?
