I was wondering this. I don't plan on seeing it in theaters myself, but I figured that St. Johns would probably have a showing at some point.

Thanks for sharing this info!

Eh, I'm mostly going off how I was when I was little, to be honest. I never followed when new episodes were airing, I just watched the shows when they came on. I didn't even follow any shows weekly until I was older.

Thing is, even with all of us enjoying the show, it's still a kid's show. We're just bystanders here, enjoying the show, but never being the target of anything more than the awesome nods DHX has given us and some of the merch.

Everything you've said would apply perfectly if they were actually trying to market the show to us, but they're not. Little girls aren't hyping for the next season as soon as one ends, they're enjoying the reruns and playing with the toys. The timing of announcing of Twilicorn gave enough time for them to get excited, but not enough that they would forget about it. Same with the season premiere announcements; the target audience isn't going to care about the next season until it's within their attention span.

Hasbro isn't going to handle these things like they're trying to keep a fanbase of teens and adults happy and interested because they aren't; they're trying to keep a fanbase of little girls interested.

It'll probably be longer. Season 3 has ended earlier, and the premier time will likely stay the same as previous seasons and be somewhere in the fall, so that leaves about an 8 month gap or so. Really, we don't know anything for certain until an official announcement.

Really? It always seems to me like EQD tends to avoid drama in the fandom altogether, which I must say I quite like. What's an example of them giving incomplete information and stirring the pot?

This. I try my best to avoid them, but I always end up seeing the episode title and what it's generally about before I actually see it.

Whatever happened to Phoe, Tekaramity, and PK? They don't seem to post all that often; is this due to lack of free time on their part, personal reasons, or just moving on?

Wait, where does this happen? Somewhere here on the site, or somewhere else? I've never seen this before and this is my first time hearing of it.

What happens when the show finally ends? Will you guys keep the blog going until everyone finally runs out of steam?

Also, what are your thoughts on the 13 episode season and the seemingly extended break that comes with it? If 13 ep seasons become the norm, how do you see it affecting the community?

I would be totally ok with this as an episode.
