"If I call my wife beautiful than I have limited her beauty to the context within which I speak. I also limit it to the culture within which my language is born. I also essentially limit myself from her as the Object of my desire. The more I know of her through language, the less I know about her. "

-I honestly have no clue what is being said, here. To me, this talk about linguistic treason is cause more for confusion than any sort of clarity. I guess if that's your intention, you're doing a great job, but then I would ask what the value of confusion is?

Heh...thanks KC! I hate it when people say they're high on anything. It never made sense to me. Always just seemed like anecdotal optimism that wasn't actually true.

But, dude, you need to see this video of guys who claim to be actually drunk in the Spirit...it is ridiculous:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l6zp3Ha1njo&fe...

Agreed. But here's the most important question: could God make a rock so big that he couldn't lift it?

I know that the Superman character is actually supposed to have Messianic qualities, but I think the Jesus as Wolverine picture is just plain awesome.

I get the humor here, but in all reality there are sometimes hard things that need to be said in Christian love.

I'm not sure that "you suck" or "you need to date" fall into that category as much as "your actions are concerning me" or "your beliefs don't line up with Scripture."

Just sayin'. In Christian love and all.
