I have to agree with gramps1941,,, This is the "ME ME ME" generation at this time.... Ask any of the Jr hi and high school kids if they know what "empathy" is, and almost half won't know. If there is a choice to be made between a good paying job, which will take a long time in training, or "easy money now", guess what most will pick?... We have gradually turned our society into a "must have automatic gratification" society... hence the "ME ME ME and NOW NOW NOW" generation. There IS a lack of respect in our society today, because there is very little "empathy" anymore. Here is a little test, keep track of the answers and you'll be amazed. Just ask "What is the Golden Rule" to any and all of the young people of today and see what you tally up.. If YOU don't know, look it up, learn it, and spread it around.
How sad. I have the feeling, since the woman was released from an assisted care facility, and she was suffering from serious health problems, she wished not to go on like that, I also suspect these 2 may have been married/together for years and years.. They were most likely so a part of each others lives, for so long she didn't want to suffer from those serious health problems, and he couldn't live without her....
heartbreaking... what's even worse is with all those priors, this guy will STILL probably get 5-6 THOUSAND more chances with our court system.
thumbs up for that one no_neos !!
also let's look back at the elk killings, with many of the elk shot by arrows inside an enclosed field, hmm,.... remember who all it was pulled over onto the side of the road just to shoot at them? Of course this was according to the news media, and the witnesses. Not stereotyping, just more facts.
so what happened with the dog?
Yes, someone could have died from rocks being thrown onto the cars below, but 4 YEARS? In Prison?..... What ever happened to forced community service. Do you know how much good could be done if there were more community service work done? Oh, I see, put everyone that does anything wrong in prison, then there is no community.... At least they now have medical and dental so they will be all nice and healthy for when they get out.
Well, I guess the Headline says it all.... since there is no story.... Way to go Kent!
A lot of people care..... That's the problem nowadays... not enough people care about anything anymore. Compassion is fast becoming a lost art.
hhmmm..... sounds an awful lot like Captain Tripps....??? If we all start to have dreams about the Walkin' Dude and Mother Abigail, I think it will be time to give up.
