Please understand, I think she is guilty of compicity in your grandfather's murder---but NN never said that 'she requested that I kill him. In fact, just to refresh memories, do you remember his reply to the question from Benson, 'Did someone ask you to kill him (or words to that affect, and he said, 'No one had to tell me to kill him'.

ses--no, I'm not saying that she 'didn't have anything to do with your grandfather's death.' Please bear with me----What I am saying is that Nicholas Notaro never said that he killed Joseph 'at Renee's request'. The detectives were adamant that Nick did everything he could to remove any suspicion from Renee. He did the opposite of saying 'I did this at Renee's request', he deflected, denied and lied, lied, lied. to minimize her involvement to helping dismember and dispose of the body. It was his intention that she never be charged with the actual murder....and the reporter saying that 'he did it at her request' is simply wrong. He never said 'Renee requested that I kill Joseph Tarricone'---had he done that, her conviction would have been 'a walk in the park'----and it wasn't. Her conviction was assured when she took the stand and Farina used ten penny nails to suspend her from the courtroom wall...Notaro's testimony and his blatant lies--simply assured that she was going away...cont'd next reply

rebbie--one more thing...actually two....I am definitely not trying to absolve her of guilt...she is where she belongs. Also, something your brother said at the trial that I had not considered before....greed was at the bottom of all of this...the truck, the jewelry, the briefcase, his bank account, the airline tickets....abject greed....I was in a cocktail lounge last night, small mom and pop place on 99th and Portland. Two men came in selling meat to the few customers at the bar and those playing darts...I told them the story of Joseph Tarricone...wish I'd known him....

rebbie--no question that he admitted shooting your father. Forgive me, if I am wrong. I have read all of the interrogation submitted by both detectives--Benson and Wood, and nowhere did I see that Nataro shot your father at Renee's request. That is what I am disputing...that he admitted his act was 'at her request'. Both Renee and Nartaro went to great lengths (thankfully unsuccessfully) to deflect any responsibility, conspiracy or prior knowledge directed at Renee. He at first accused his mother, then stated emphatically but untruthfully, that Renee was in Hawaii at the time of the murder. Then took full responsibility on himself...yes, lies, lies, lies...do you recall early in his interrogation when detectives implied that they were going after Robin and Renee and he said, ''Renee, my sisters, weren't involved, not one iota." The above statement is taken from KOMO's article at the top of this page. This is extremely poor reporting. Notaro never 'admitted to shooting Tarricone twice in the head at his sister's request'. Just the opposite! He claimed that and I quote from detectives interrogation of Notaro... 'Renee, my sisters, weren't involved, not one iota." He continually denied that Renee had any involvement in the planning of the murder. Doesn't mean she wasn't involved...she likely was. But I have detailed information about this case. Notaro always tried to deflect any suspicion that either Renee or Robin were involved. The reporter might also have mentioned that Geraldine Hesse, mother of Renee and Robin, and adoptive mother of Nicholas Notaro, also helped dismember the body. Hesse died in 2001 thus, avoiding earthly justice regarding her part in this heinous, senseless crime.
