All US passport blanks are printed at the GPO and outsourced to the Netherlands for the addition of an electronic chip and then sent to Thailand where the RFID antennas are added. They are then sent back to the US and sold to the State Department at a 600% mark up. and Obama's complaining about Bain Capital's outsourcing.
I imagine buying a blank "official" US passport on the black market in Thailand isn't too difficult.

You're right. The Evangelicals and the far right won't vote for Romney but I believe they will come out in droves to vote against Obama and his ideological policies. In the end it's the same thing.

I agree. Our present system isn't and hasn't been a Republic for some time.
We have a Supreme Court that thinks its job is to make laws, Congressmen and women who are for sale to the highest bidder, and a President who believes he has the power to bypass the other two branches of government if they don't do his bidding.
There was a reason for electing our President through the Electoral College. It allowed the sovereign states control over the Federal government. At that time the state legislatures also elected the US Senators. Now control of the Senate is up for sale every two years and the big push is on to elect the President by popular vote. The more votes you can buy the more power you control. Remember, Hitler, Castro, and Sadam Hussein were all put in control of their countries by Democratic, popular elections.
We will never return to a Republican form of government. Too many people from both sides have too much invested to ever let the “people” have a say in their own future.

The founders chose the Republican form of government over the Democratic form based on earlier Greek examples.
The Republic which was Sparta survived until it devolved into a Democracy following the example of Athens and then both Democracies collapsed from within.
The people who established this nation were smart enough to know that a government established on the rule of law; while flawed, was still better than a government ruled by a mob.
The greedy and the power hungry have been trying to change our system since its inception to suit their vision of a perfect world. Eventually they will succeed. No government; good or bad, has ever lasted forever. The American experiment is no exception.

When Benjamin Franklin was asked, upon his emergence from the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia in 1787, what form of government the United States was going to have. Franklin answered succinctly, "A Republic, if you can keep it."
Franklin, like the other founders of this nation knew that a Democracy was doomed to failure as long as one side or the other could buy that one vote needed to give them the majority.

The National debt at the end of the Bush administration was 9 trillion dollars. The projected National debt at the end of the Obama Administration, Dec 2012 is 15.566 trillion dollars.
That's six and a half trillion additional debt from a President who promised he'd cut the national debt in half during his first four years in office. But hey, he didn't know we were in a recession when he made those promises, right?

Obama has added almost six trillion dollars to the deficit in less than four years by spending without a budget and you still buy the less spending lie the left is pushing. Must be some heavy drugs in that kool aid your drinking.

If you sell guns as a business enterprise there are laws and regulations that apply. Gun sales between individuals are not regilated.
Most criminals are smart enough to not buy guns legally. I guess that's one of the reasons we call them criminals.
