Whenever I read a piece like this that resonates so hard with me, I feel the need to comment on it to let the author know I appreciate what I read but also feel like I can't put words to all the ways in which I appreciate this piece. LOVE TAVI FOREVER. So happy to see her on The Toast. She does a fantastic job articulating the tension between feelings and sentimentality (hoarding memories. this resonates with me so much) and the self-consciousness that accompanies them.
