If you truly had gay family members that you love and support and you feel this way about gay marriage, you would NOT vote at all. If you can't support equal rights, the least you could do is be silent.

You are right. The other 6 states had to change their laws on divorce - this is also the right thing to do.

Thank you Ken. I couldn't agree more with you. So many heartfelt debates on both the Senate and House floor have paved the way for this. Gay people should not be treated as separate but equal. There is no place for this in the constitution. As Gregoire said before signing, statistics show from the other 6 states that have legalized this that it has no affect on any straight person in any way . It's legal in Iowa. IOWA!!!

The whale certainly should not be euthinized but I do agree they should all be set free. Last I checked they were still called Killer Whales. And I believe this particular whale has a killing track record.

In my own personal opinion, this is obviously no longer about R-71 but more about setting a precedent for future cases on whether names should be public opinion. I hope future comments on this article reflect this and don't get in to the who's, what's, why's this passed and whether or not you or your family agree with the outcome.
