No one is talking about the board, they're talking about the executive director who is paid staff. And this is exactly how non-profits work. They can't keep any money they bring in, but they can set their salaries. And in Boulder it's pretty easy to rationalize that you need a high salary because of the cost of living.

Sue Prant complains that we don't have a "statistically significant sample at this point." but does it really make sense to have a significant post-right sizing sample if you don't have a significant pre-right sizing sample for comparison??

They don't mention where this major construction project is near Folsom but it's on Valmont between 29th and 30th. Be ready for some serious delays at this location!!

Wake up Boulder! The level of discoloration is directly proportional to the level of cyanide in the creek (assuming a conservative pH of 4.5). Organize NOW!! It could be too late if we wait. There will be a rally at the bandshell Thursday at noon!!!

75'.
That's the height we should consider for buildings east of 28th st north from walnut to mapleton. Boulder needs a CBD not in the downtown. This is the place to do it. Take the pressure off the rest of Boulder and build dense here.

You can have the nicest neighbors, but the neighborhood simply isn't designed to house that many individuals. It's not that it won't work in some cases but as described in a previous article, by legally allowing more unrelated individuals to live together Ina house, you are actually pushing rents up for a family looking to rent that same house. If you can't see that then it's you Peter that lacks vision.

"In addition to personnel, the budget includes funding for Civic Area improvements, a pilot EcoPass program for workers on University Hill, more money for library collections and programming, a city newsletter and the ongoing municipalization effort."

Other than the pilot EcoPass program (which the article above indicates is now going to cost more), there's not a single issue that I support amongst these.

"...uninvited, she opened the lunch sack..." Uninvited? If I was asked to carry a package fro someone, I might want to see it's contents and would surely think I had the right.

Yeah seriously. If you are going to leave a trace, can't you just make it a cairn that I can happily knock over?
