Step Up 2 is ABSOLUTELY the best one but the love interest is terrible. In my headcanon Andi drops him the second the movie ends and gets together with the angry pseudo-British brother instead. They have actual chemistry! He's very controlled and she's anti-authority! They are perfect together!

Although actually they make me feel like I am actually doing pretty well to have initiated contact not one but SEVERAL times, but I'm sure that will end when it turns out she will never love me.

There is definitely a lot of gushing about cheekbones and eyelashes and like literally flawless skin going on inside my head now. I am a very dignified being.

In all fairness, I don't know that is what's going to happen. My circle is very accepting, I'm sure they'll be just fine, but I don't really want to get into it until I know whether this could actually turn into something more. Sorry you've had to deal with that! People are crap but I hope you have some good accepting people around as well.

Ugh yes work people. If coming out at work ever becomes an issue for me I know it's going to be a complete shitshow (my vegetarianism has been brought up at lunch literally EVERY WEEK the two years I've worked there, I can't even imagine how being bi would go over).

Posting in the open thread for the first time because I have a crush on a girl and I need to talk about it somewhere! It's a new thing for me but it's making me really happy, so.

What is frustrating is I don't want to tell most of my friends yet because I suspect there will be far too much "wait, you're into girls???" rather than the far more relevant "OMG FEELINGS ARE THE WORST yes I will absolutely listen to you recount every word she has said to you so we can analyse whether she might be at all into you too". So I'm just going to put it here and feel good about having it down in words.

(Also, this plus doing my Master's in Library and Information Science is really making me feel like an ideal Toastie.)
