Wow! That video was an eye opener. This is why I think organized lobbying should be illegal. I think
that the AARP has been hijacked by some elitists who have made some sort of inside deal with tthe Obama
Adm. in return for their endorsement of this universal healthcare sham. This is why I don't belong to
ANY lobbying groups because I think the leaders of these groups are easily corrupted and no different
than our politicians.

Who got what in this deal NK ? The reporters got released. Al Gore's Current TV and these imprisoned reporters
got some juicy movie/ book deal fodder. Pres. Clinton promised Kim Jon Il that Jet Li would play him in the "Lifetime Television" movie version of this incident.

I have a really stupid question. Why haven't our domestic car makers ever rolled a car DIRECTLY off of their assembly lines that run on natural gas? I live in the middle of natural gas country and I think most people in my region would own a car with the natural gas option that came on a brand new car.

Have you ever had to deal with a Congressman or Rep. on a personal issue? I have a gravely ill brother
who needs nursing care but, our state repeatedly cuts his hours. My working tax paying parents have pled to
every politician in our area for help and all they get is lip service. If you want to sound of to a rep. about a particuliar issue, more power to you. I can no longer take that leap of faith by trading my support for
lip service. I vote in every election and I want results up front. Its the public servant's turn to deliver up front
before they get my vote.

If the federal gov. is going to run their healthcare like the Ark. Dept. of Health and Human Services, they might as
forget about trying to provide healthcare for everyone. I have a 33yr old brother with Duchenne's Disease. He
is bedridden, attached to life support and cannot do anything for himself but, the Ark. HHS keeps trying to
cut his nursing care. My 60 something, working and tax paying parents have pled my brother's case to every politician that would supposedly listen with NO RESULT. Government run healthcare Or anything else for that matter does not work.

I noticed this morning that the trial lawyers want tax deductions for all expenses related to litigation. This will
increase the number of malpractice suits, drive up malpractice insurance costs for doctors and hospitals,
drive private medical systems into bankruptcy and finally force all of us into a universal healthcare
system where your doctor has a diploma from The University of Grenada.

The liberation of Iraq and Afghanistan (UNDER THE BUSH ADM.) did more to further womens rights
world wide than any of our "liberal and enlightened" Presidents ever did. I don't get why women's groups
turn their back on people who "walk the walk" instead of just "talking the talk". It make these women's
group look like hypocrites who have a secret agenda other than women's rights.

In the wrong hands, government run healthcare could be used as a very subtle form of genocide. People
in a Government run health system might be denied critical healthcare because of their political views, socio-economic status, religion, race, age, etc.. In a federally run healthcare scenario, do you think a card carrying
Republican in Nancy Pelosi's district would get quality treatment for a critical illness in a timely manner.
Think about that. Its pretty scary.
