EVERYONE STOP. (and I apologize if someone else mentioned this already)
This entire incident has nothing to do with anything but SEIU WANTS TO "ORGANIZE" THE TELLERS OF BANK AMERICA.
This is what they call a "leverage campaign."
1. A union picks a corporate "target" based on it's vulnerability to a smear campaign. The union also considers the number of potential dues paying hourly workers.
2. The union then creates a dummy front organization (example: "Stop Walmart") to present a bunch of slanted and often completely manufactured "data" about a corporation's social sins
3. This is all a smokescreen, however, for the real "leveraging" -- the calling out of bought and paid for public officials to investigate the corporation and inflict legal and regulatory damage
4. if the corporation anywhere in there agrees to sign a "neutrality agreement" with the union, the union backs away , dismantles the front group, calls off it's political and regulatory dogs.
5. Said "neutrality agreement" requires the corporation and it's management to express no negative opinions about the union to it's workers and essentially step aside while the union collects signature cards from the workers. The corporation is also expected to provide private contact info on their workforce and keep their managers from interfering in any way with the union's organizer.
6. If just 30% of workers can be strong armed in their own homes to sign on to the raft of lies and pie in the sky union promises? The lucky SOBs have a union and start paying dues.
ALL THIS TAKES PLACE WITHOUT EVER ASKING A SINGLE WORKER IF THEY WANT OR NEED A UNION.
