Look it is 10:28 and I am watching the Martha Stewart streaming channel. None of us are making good decisions.
People inside the industry (including me) have been telling them this for YEARS. They refuse to fucking listen to us. It makes people angry and it breeds a deep cynicism that makes people think the democratic system is bullshit. Straight up contributes to the rise of facism. But what do we know? We are just leftist troublemakers who won't play the game.
It amazes me that big organizations like this just run these broken systems and don't make any attempt to fix them.

And at 4 hours and 32 minutes they picked up. And then told me I had called the wrong division. And then told me the first person I talked to should have seen that right away. Then I had to call a completely different number where the agent fixed my problem in 5 minutes. What in the actual fuck happened to me today?
OK, I'm at 4 hours. I feel like no is going to pick me out of the queue because no one wants to talk to the woman who has been on hold for 4 hours. I'm not even mad, at this point I am genuinely curious what they will say if they pick up my call.
Ugh, fucking jam board. It takes half the call to make sure everyone is using it correctly.
OK, so I got locked out of my student loan account and the website told me to call the helpline. I called and was told I could not get a call back for 45 minutes. Fine. I request a call back. An hour later and agent calls me and we try to fix the issue. No dice. She needs to escalate it to someone else and can I wait on a brief hold while they get to me? Sure. That was 3 hours and 18 minutes ago. I am still on hold. Not sure why this is acceptable in any way. They close at 5 pm central. Let's see if they get to me by then.
The best part is that it is still up. What a clown.
