You are right about the enlightened mantality. And you know, the progressive worldview is so full of logical fallacies and self defeating statements it amazes me. I think progressives have a tendency to make decisions based on emotions you lose site of reality, logic and truth. You reject debate and discussion and replace it with mocking, slander and attempts to change the definitions of words to fit your belief. This behavior is anything but liberating.

I guess I dont' really expect bitartisanism anymore but come on...this just shows how far the divide is...even though I think the republicans are not that conservative anymore...I guess that shows how far left Ohama actually is to dissagree that much with republicans.

When asked about bipartisanism and Specter changing parties, Obama said he thinks Specter is now “Liberated” to make decisions...liberated? Really?...Does this descriptive language seem a little extreme and irrational to anyone else?

Perhaps evidence of his actual ideology.

I only mentioned Mormons were different in so much as what they (the institution) believe. I said nothing about “true Christians.” Christianity is just a term, not even found in the Bible. But it is an identifier and that’s important to many people. Regardless if you (if you do) believe all religions are relative, if you study the mormon & christian doctrines they are different. That’s all I meant to point out.

I don’t know what you meant by “look up the definition of Christian” because that would all depend on the source. The only reasonable source would be the Bible and from that the only prerequisite for salvation is to put your active trust in Jesus as the son of God. Is that what you meant by “take Christ’s name up on them”?

What do you base your theory on? experience? Did you experience all those religious peoples deep fears?

The world may be mroe happier for you that way...and that theory could apply to anyone "if only everyone did what I believe then all will be better"

But I don't understand your point. How can somone confident in their own faith shut the hell up about it? 1) Faith is belief in action...so that would make shutting up hard. 2) Therfore confidence would make their faith stronger. 3) Evangelical religions tell you about it because they belive it. 4) You reject going to hell if you don't believe in such and such, but can you prove thats not true? I don't think religion can prove it is but it offers (Christianity in particular) why its reasonable to belive so. You may dissagree but thats no reason to say they should shut up.

An explanation to your question would be rather long, but I would say in short Mormons are different then Christians in so far as what they believe. You pointed out the "JESUS CHRIST" in their title, however that can theoretically be placed on anything. The distinction is in theology and the source of that theology (Bible vs. the Book of Mormon for example). Although Mormons use both documents what they teach is in many places contradictory to Biblical Christianity. The issue of salvation is one of them. The differences between Baptists and Methodist are not comparable.

BO and his administration support international and transnational law, if they don’t feel competent enough to govern this country they all should resign and be replaced with those who feel they can govern with American Law.

You know, this U.N. to rule over parental rights has just put me over the top. AMERICANS MAKE LAWS FOR AMERICANS. Seriously guys/gals sign the petition that will start a defense for American Sovereignty at http://www.parentalrights.org/

Good video...the left treats this threat like it's a childs fear of a monster under the bed...unbelieveable...God forbid we waterboard a terroist in atempt to keep Americans safe...

but at least we got a president who wakes up "...every day thinking about how to keep the American people safe" and goes "... to bed every night worrying about keeping the American people safe," ....boy I sure trust him now just like the old saying goes words speak louder then actions!!...oh wait

The left appears to believe in the unalienable rights of terroists and criminals so much but they dont factor in the American peoples unalienable rights to be ALIVE and not be attacked....along with bailouts this goes along with thier philosophy to award bad behavior.
