All good advice. I do need to stop taking the questionable jobs just for the paycheque. But then again, I DO need the money because I am trying to run my own business. It's going well, but doesn't make enough money to pay me with so I've still got to find a "real job" to pay the bills.

I am applying for a government program that may allow me the freedom to work on my business without worrying about the bills. The presentation is tomorrow and I hope I get in. Fingers crossed!

Thanks Sarah. I didn't know you were still around, but your words are always welcome. I'm not SO bad off, there are certainly others in worse positions... but... you know. Feelings and all that jazz. Ego hurting.

I don't have a perfect solution, but I chose to make my Airbnb calendar my "master" calendar. Whenever I get a new booking I make sure it is entered there. Then I have all the other sites sync to the Airbnb ical URL to stay updated.

Then for quick looks I have the Airbnb calendars for each property showing up on my Google Calendar account.

Again, not perfect but it's been ok so far. I do wish there was a better way though! If you find one, please let me know!

I'm totally having the same issues that you are, and finding the post op care atrocious. I am trying to get the company to hire me on so I can help them improve the post op care for ALL of us. ALSO: Your band is too tight. You need to go in and get that de-filled and try to get into the mythical post-op support program. Mythical because even a shit-disturber like me can't get the right kind of support. But please, get a de-fill. You really, really need it based on your comment above. It'll get worse if you don't do something.

I hear ya, Marivan. This seems to be a common complaint.
I'm trying to get Slimband to hire me so I can fix this for all of us. I don't think they can do it without me, to be honest.

I ended up just hosting it inside. If it was warmer I may have tried to clean things up more. the party was ok, but unfortunately about half the people couldn't make it in the end. But I got the cake done and everyone liked it so I suppose that was a win.
