I just did something similar. The anxiety is too. much. Big life decisions are terrifying, worth it (this is what I'm telling myself).

I was recently injured and I had to wear a really obvious leg brace.

On the train, people frequently wouldn't stand/take their stuff off of seats so I could sit down. It was at "pretending I don't hear your request" levels. So I decided to start complaining loudly about how inconsiderate people are to pregnant, elderly, and injured people on transit. Can you believe it? How rude people are?

It was so satisfying. And I got a seat.
