Deb, thanks for visiting the site. The Roku does use some bandwidth for periodic updates from time to time. This is not too bad because this would be every few weeks or months. Now, when you leave your Roku for the night, don't leave it in the Netflix menu. Leave it in the top menu. This reduces your bandwidth usage. Also, some screensavers download from the net as well. So, in addition to the previous point, use screensavers that don't need the internet to run and you should be ok.

Debbie, welcome to the blog. Yes, many people have the problem of the Roku getting very hot. Right now, there isn't anything that can be done about it but hopefully because of so many customer's concerns, Roku will get the message and include the power button functionality for the next one they manufacture.

Carolyn, nice point. Samsung seems to be looking to corner the market using various tactics, inter connectivity looks like one of their angles.

Pawan, welcome to the blog. To be honest with you, at this point I'm not sure that anyone except Google really knows when the next PR update will be. As for me, I'm just hoping it comes in August. A lot of people are saying that it doesn't really matter and that domain and page authority is where its at right now.

While this may be true, having a high PR does tend to increase one very valuable aspect of a blog and that is comments! I've seen this on other blogs that I've owned. People tend to want to comment on your blog if it has a high pagerank. One point to note here, getting comments on an article does wonders for your serp positioning.

Of course, these people are blog owners that want a high page rank backlink to their site which is basically every webmasters goal anyway. So, overall, getting a bump in PR does in fact have a positive effect on your site.

Carolyn, really happy to see you here! I think that Samsung has identified a niche and are testing the water with this phone/camera. It could prove to be quite lucrative in the future and I hear that Nokia is also developing a phone along the lines of this one.
As regards Samsung's naming of their products, let's just say they could do a bit better in this department. Look at the Tab and Note series of products for instance. A user that is not so tech savvy would wonder why Samsung has all these tablets on the market. Imagine working as a sales rep and having to explain this to these customers!! Not a job I would want for sure.

Topspot, welcome to MrTech. I agree with you, bloggers always eagerly anticipate Google's pagerank update, even if it does not directly affect traffic any longer.
