I read this book in AP English and hated it so, so much. I remember my gloss on it at the time as "I wanted everyone in this book to die, and they did a fine job of doing just that."

I'd tell my younger self to appreciate her beautiful, beautiful fine and shiny hair before it really thins out in her twenties. Also that she looks MUCH better with much less eyebrow.
