I know a woman that didn't discover that her baby had no brain until she was at the beginning of her third trimester. To get an abortion she had to leave the state. I can't imagine putting anyone through that and then heaping anguish on them by yelling and screaming and showing them pictures of dead fetuses. God's love forbids that I think.

Want to help? Offer to do so or just sit outside and pray for the women.

Every time i read about bullying it makes me appreciate more the respect that our school teaches and demands from our students. It's a Montessori school and I think it's the best money I'll ever spend.

I'm just giving advice. Certainly not original. Just something my wife taught me.

He seems to be a great dad.

As for kids learning to tell the truth, yes, they do need to learn it. But you simply are helping guide them and establish a trusting relationship in which they learn there are consequences for behavior and you tell the truth. You don't intentionally give them chances to lie so they can learn the consequences do you? Of course not.

I'm just suggesting, if you know the truth, don't present it as something you don't know the answer to.

Never ask a child a question to which you already know the answer and they might lie about it. Sets them up for failure. It's tantamount to entrapment.
