i'm a mental health therapist and this is one case i would NOT want to be on. there are reasons for keeping case notes documented as minimally as possible as to what is said during sessions (at least according to the laws of WA state), especially in case notes were ever supoenaed. i've worked with people with schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorder before and provided they're taking their meds, most are in touch with reality. even with the disorder, it doesn't diminish the capacity to tell right from wrong. he needs to be locked away in federal prison permanently. and bersa, i would like to ask why is it worse that a child was killed than the five other adults? yes, it was just as tragic, but not worse. life is life.
would someone please explain to me where this city gets the idea that the seattle police are 'over-aggressive'? THESE ARE BLOODY CRIMINALS!!!!!! are we supposed to treat them like 'cops in wallingford' or 'cops in bellevue' (those old enough to remember 'almost live' will get that) and send them on their way? i mean REALLY! when i first moved here 16 years ago, there was a mentally ill man who held the entire downtown and the SPD at bay with a SAMURAI SWORD and the police actually didn't use takedown measures. this never would have happened in philly, DC, or LA. when the police actually start discharging their weapons in the line of duty, all of a sudden the SPD is 'over-aggressive.' this liberal hippie city needs to suck it up and BITE IT. the police are here for the reason of DEFENDING US. imagine you're in a situation where you're about to be robbed, raped, or murdered. would you rather have your attacker shot by a cop or taken out for a latte before being booked into the Hole in County? THINK ABOUT IT! i'd rather have a cop do it before i need to discharge MY 9mm.
you must be a far-left liberal.
at this point, i'm probably going to end up voting republican in the mayoral election. i fear if i vote democrat, we'll end up with another idiot like mcbeard. as someone who is a gun owner, pro-military, and fiscally conservative it puts me JUUUUUST slightly to the right, but in my profession (mental health therapist and case manager) i rely on social programs for employment (which i haven't found yet for the past year). i guess i'd rather be called conservative than a liberal though if liberal means identifying with people like the mayor and those who voted him into office.
in SEATTLE?? please. i'm from philly and it's pretty much the norm there. yet they STILL GET THE BLOODY JOB DONE!!!!
he knew this was coming! why do you think he insisted on the seattle bag tax and banning plastic bags? he's such a putz.
hence why there will never be anything as true 'anarchy' because somebody always ends up in charge and what do you have? government :) their stupidity never ceases to amaze me.
three words: rock salt ammo. i am so sick of these stupid so-called anarchists. given the opportunity, i would run over them with my car, back up, and do it again.
don't knock it 'til you've tried it ;) it's better than coffee!
i'm jewish and even i recognise the sarcasm here.
