You can use ANY flash player that you would like, unless it's a WMA, or a WMV than the Windows Media Player will be used by default.

Yes, you could create your own Flash Player from scratch, but you would need to do it in Flash 7, CS3, or CS4 and yes Actionscript will be involved, but stick around I plan on writing a couple Actionscript tutorial's VERY soon :)

Quite simply put, that this tutorial simply shows how to integrate different types of media using the jQuery Media Plugin, to play a different type of media that involves something that is Windows you would simply have to tell the jQuery Media Plugin that you want to use windows, which then probably tell the user that Windows Media Player would be used and would replace the Flash player.

1). I actually enjoy the new design, very clean and gets the job done (nice job by the way). Only problem is the falling snow make my slow computer even more slower! (amazing right :P ).

2) i think it would be OK to just have one design. If you want to take it further and change the color or even make a whole new design feel free to, but my opinion is it is fine if there all alike.

3) It would be cool if you would release a wordpress theme :P. Or if that is to much it be cool to have a a nice clean social sidebar widget that you have some options for adding which social site to retrieve updates from. (haven't seen it yet.)
