@ Hunt: "After all, isn't it our differences which makes us so unique as a specie?" I know one thing for sure, our differences is the main cause of our downfall as a species. I do understand the cultural beauty of each and every society. However, different mind sets, different upbringings and different values are contributions to the horrible state we live in today. Most tend to attack any mention of Christianity, is Christianity to be blamed for the state that we're in today? In these times I'd rather take my chance with a Christian.
So, what is the government going to do about this? The crime situation was one of the reasons that the previous government got voted out. And that sentiment was echoed on a daily basis by many bloggers on this site. So what has changed now?
What a way to start the new year. SMDH.
Even if this is proven true, you will be in a state of denial. "The administration has to go.....and replace with what? You got to be kidding me. You wicked yes.
I got four questions for you bstrinidad6. (1) Is Trinidad better off now than it was in 2010? (2) What major accomplishments have the current government achieved thus far? (3) You mentioned some debatable issues of the previous government (was in power for quite some time), can you mention the missteps of the current government (just shy of 3 years in power)? (4) What did the Manning administration accomplished? Please answer these questions with honesty. No government is perfect, no one is perfect, not even you bstrinidad6. But if I was a gambling man, I will place my bet for the PNM over this current government anyday. Their performance is substandard. Trinidad took 10 steps backward on May 2010. I purposely did not mentioned Tobago because they are not so easily bambozzled and have an independent and rationale thought process. Tobagonians don't enjoy eating sh*t sandwiches like trinis. We certainly need to take a page from Tobago's play book. Trinidad is in the gutter. Please pray for Trinidad.
Chilli bibi dey cannot think that clearly. Dey like it so. Easily fooled and then we all have to suffer for 5 God forsaken years. Enjoy the government dey voted for in dey craw.
We apologise, I think thats a little to late now. The man is looking feeble from his stroke. After all dat man done for trini i cannot believe how so many jumped on a bandwagon of lies. How could we be so easily duped? Now look at where we are today. If it was up to me, I wouldn't accept none of allyuh blasted apologise. We suffering now. Is dem time now. We like it so. SMDH.
Either you can't handle the truth, or you are a natural born story teller. You remind me of a tea party/die hard republican who frots at the mouth every time he sees or hears Obama.
This is not the first, nor will it be the last time that trinis got duped. We like it so. It seemed like just yesterday when Manning's own people was booing him at his constituency office. Enjoy your government.
Seems like the TTDF especially the Coast Guard has a high incidence of road fatalities. I believe they lost one in Tobago during the independence day celebration. Also, there is a few that died earlier in the year, one from a motor cycle accident. TTDF, please educate your members about road safety. Speed kills, alcohol and driving kills, driving tired kills.
