I am hoping all of us will spread this kind of info locally. I would also like to see some serious macro-organization between all of the communities nationwide to start planning the next step. The tea-parties are a great way for us to unify, but we need well-defined goals and solid intentions to take this any further.

What I have seen from most of these posts is a common understanding of what we need to do, but we really need to centralize our focus and realize this is going to take alot of work and personal sacrifice to do this right.

Obviously this would take a tremendous amount of planning and organization and we would need to designate leaders amongst ourselves that can coordinate whatever course of action we decide to take. We should appoint “community leaders” and model our organization after the composition of the government as outlined in the Constitution of the United States of America.

All of the tea-party organizers could act as “representatives” and “senators”, we could appoint lawyers to act as our Judiciary branch, and ultimately we can decide who will represent us as a whole and act on our behalf to negotiate terms with our elected officials (Glenn already has my vote).

We need to act fast. We have the resources, we have the numbers and we have the momentum to take this all the way home. Let’s do this right.

Our tea parties are peaceful demonstrations to protest the wrongdoings of our elected officials; but unlike the original Boston Tea Party, we are merely voicing our protest rather than actually doing anything to put pressure on our “out of control” government.

When a company mistreats its employees, the workers go on strike which puts production at a standstill and forces the management to negotiate. This is the same type of power we have as citizens to demand recompense. The tea parties are a great start and give us the opportunity to get organized, but what we need is a plan of action we can coordinate across all 50 states and proceed with. Not just a "tea party" demonstration but an actual, yet peaceful, revolt against the powers that be.

The realization, at least for me, is that as things get more and more intense the more dramatic people's reactions will be in general. The worst situation we could find ourselves in is if we lose our right to defend ourselves from those who could care less about the legalities of owning a weapon.
