I've lived in LA for almost 7 years, and I've never been. I have no idea why.

At least here monroe appears to be lifting real weights: http://i.ehow.com/images/a04/ul/5q/start-weight-t... (we have this poster in our gym).

I'm not sure I'd want to work out in a bikini top and jeans, though.

My favorite runs are outside, in the hills. Hill workouts don't feel so bad when I'm in the middle of nowhere.

Then again, I have seen rattlesnakes TWICE on my favorite trail. And the thought of them kind of makes me need to poop a little. Especially since I almost stepped on one the first time.

When I'm cyber-stalking people I *used* to be friends with, it does make me feel like crap (which is a good sign I shouldn't be doing that). But for day to day use, it makes me feel good to be all connected with people I wouldn't talk to otherwise.

If you've been running for five years, you're clearly doing something right, goal or not.

Congrats Mitmee!

I love getting so caught up in a run that I go faster than I normally would. It pretty much only happens when I'm running with other people.
