I do agree and the third line about The Federal Governments power is what I think our forefathers wrote in the Constitution, but some how we have left the path, but we need to get back on path.

I agree, but I am still trying to figure out why part time help gets a life long pension and medical care after just a few years of only working part time. Out in the real world people working part time and also in a lot of cases people working full time for 30 or 40 years do not get any pension or insurance.

Glenn we should have term limits with a max of 2 terms. Now I know that Senators term is 6 six years, and that a U.S. Representative is 2 years terms, but a Senator or a Representative should serve no more than 2 terms. They should not have any kind of retirement, they should have medical coverage for themselves and spouse for only the time they are in office, plus they should have insurance coverage that they pay 20% percent and the insurance pays the rest. Plus they should have to paid 20% percent of the monthly premium. They should only be able to receive a raise after a yes vote from the public. They should not be able to serve terms as a Senator and then decide to run as a
U.S. Representative or vise verses. They should not be able to work for the Government for a time of 5 years after leaving office. They would not be able to ever hold elected office for the federal government ever again except maybe to run for President. The Speaker of the House of Representative should not serve more than 2 years.

Just to let people out know there is hope after the repression or depression which ever it is. Back in the late 70’s, the last time we went through something like this with the economy. You just have to have faith in God and country more in the first than the second.
We had double digit unemployment where now it’s around 8 or 9 percent at present. We also had Jimmy Carter and 18 to 20 percent inflation during his term. I lost my job of 7 years in 1974, but my wife and I had worked hard for several years and had saved a little money and had great credit. We owned a home in the Dallas area, our first home we purchased new in 1964. Also for the last 6 years my wife had not worked outside the home, she was very busy raising our 2 boys.
As I said we had very good credit had saved a little money and sold our home. Well I did not look for a job for about a year, I know dumb. Now to let you know some other things we did that were dumb. We purchase 16 acres and sign a contract to build a new home. Now we used a lot of money we had saved and got from the sell of our home on the land and new home. The time came to pay the closing cost on the land and home and we did not have the money to pay it. We were on the verge of losing every thing and then the mortgage company called and said they had reduced the closing, I still do not know why today, but reduced it by a factor of 10, like from 3000 to 300 dollars we were able to save our home.
Without having a job for about a year we were now totally out of money, even thought we were able to pay the closing cost on our home, now we did not have the money to back the monthly payments. Well I got a job, which turned out to be a great job for the next 35 years.
Now I do not know where else to say thanks for the help, but God, my country did not help and we did not expect it to bale us out of the stupid things we did, but my country did not put anything in the way which was the best thing it could have done.
The still going story is my wife of 46 years and still counting we raised two great boy’s and retired after working some 45 years with a good savings and everything we own paid for, that home we almost lost and the 16 acres, but thinks to God we did not lose.
The difference between the 70’s and now is this time it scares the hell out of me, in the 70’s we had hope. Now I do not see that near as much as in the 70’s. Plus then they were not putting us 10 trillion dollars in debt. I know from my stand point its has a lot to do with my age, but I still talk to the younger people in the 30’s and 40’s and I a lot of them do not have hope in the future or their country and worse of all they have lost believe in God. I know this sound crazy, but without God we do not have a prayer in hell to save this country and have hope. With him even crazy stupid things you do will become better.

If this is true that Obama took the guns away from pilots he has done something again that will in the end hurt us all. Give the guns back to pilots. I hate to tell you America he is coming to your door soon to take your guns and put you in jail if you don't turn them end. You said its ok to take assault rifles this week, you said its ok to take any semi-auto rifle next week, you say its ok to take semi-auto pistols, then its ok to take revolvers, then its ok to take your semi-auto shot guns and then your pump rifles and shot guns. Those people who took the AIG bonuses we need to throw in prison, we need to hang them. They did nothing illegal I just do not like what they did, so we the government of The United States of American need to hang anyone we do not like what they did or what they believe forget the point that what they did was a legal contract.
