I agree that July 4th may be too little to late. I feel like we'r damed if we do and damed if we dont, if we dont take to the streets in protest our voices will just not be heard, but on the other hand if we do organize a protest we will just look like a bunch of crazies, especially after the last two shootings. It just burns my butt that they link those depraved, psycotic individualls with the conservatives. Not that I care at this point if I look a little crazy, because every time I turn on the news I feel like i'm loosing my mind or stepped into the twilight zone.

I just want to say that when the S@#$ hit the fan I thank God that you all are the ones I will be standing shoulder to shoulder with. Knowing that there are so many of you out there that will stand up for this country is the only thing that gives me a shred of hope that all is NOT lost. WE THE PEOPLE have endured far worse and will always fight to protect what came at so great a cost. Thanks - I needed that pep talk.
Pay as you go - We keep paying as he goes on spending our money. If he wants to redistribute wealth, I think he should redistribute my money back to me or maybe I should just quit my job and go on welfare so eventually I'll be back to where I am now.

I think what we should do is instead of deporting the illegals is hand them a W4 and tell them that since they are working and living in the U.S. and taking advantage of our system they will have to pay taxes. That their taxes will be at a much higher rate since they are not American citizens, that they will have to pay tuition if they wanrt to enroll their children in our schools, also since they are now tax payers that any medical services they incure will be deducted via payroll deductions. That other than paying taxes they will be afforded no other rights as a citizen ... ie voting. NO MORE FREE RIDES. See how many stick around when they have to start paying for the privilege of living here.

Fustration and helplessness. I feel like walking out my front door and screaming WHAT THE H#$%^ IS GOING ON? I try to do what I can but I know it is not going to be enough, our country has one foot on the perverbial banana peel. One of the CO's at work last night was saying that he voted for OB because he was the best one to get the job done, I commented Yea if the job is to distroy the country. they looked at me like I had just had a psychotic break.
