A complete waste of our tax dollars. This thing should be the new symbol for government waste.

The problem is they want more & more & more money, it never stops! Use the money they do have wisely, this new tax goes to the general fund to be allocated to 911 or other. This is not about 911, butab out finding or expanding current taxes to fix the budget gap. 911 is important for sure. If they were concerned about equality they would be figuring out how to have the bike commuters pay their equal share. They have bike lanes, & street lanes dedicated to them, they get the benefits but don't pay to use them. Then you would say they pay taxes, true, but buy not buying gas they do not pay the road tax for maintenance.

@ CentralORGrammy The majority of Americans DID NOT want healthcare reform! Remember 2010 elcetions & who was defeated? Yes all those angry citizens mad about their house rep vote for Obama care voted them out in 2010. & all those town hall meetings the Dems did not put on because they knew their support for Obama care was not the majority opinion in their district. You can put your head in the sand, but the actuual facts speak for themselves. =)

@ CentralORGrammy. The majority of americans did not want Obama care. That is why the GOP is now in charge of the House & came close to taking over the Senate. The overwhelming majority of the citizens of Wisconsin support Gov. Scott Walker. The same liberal media that did not & would not vet Obama during the Pres campaign also will not report on the overwhelming majority of the citizens of Wisconsin that support Gov. Scott Walker.

There is never an excuse to kill ( except to defend) anybody, especially your kids. One clue that might help us understand.

If Julie Powers sustained a brain injury or bruising on the left temperal lobe it can cause you to become easily very angry. You loose your moral compus so to speak. Spect scans that were done on serial killers showed very low to no activity in the left temperal lobe area of the brain. They had no emotions about killing, like they they were walking to the store for bread. Dr. Rick Sponaugle " It take about 4-6 weeks after a brain injury to the temperal lobe area before you typically see a behavioral change like aggression, Foul language that was never used before or thoughts of killing someone." From how Dr. Sponaugle has explained it is the only reason I can think of as to why Julie Powers would actually do such a horrendous unspeakable act against her own children.

Look at Tri-met, they also get 100% health care paid for. If they were the private sector they would only get 70-80% health care paid for.
