Hi Ryan. Yeah, I can totally relate with you on "letting things get inside your head". But along the way, I too learned that there is no such thing as "one size fits all", meaning can't please everyone at the same time. There will always be someone there to "criticize". That's just human nature... Anyway, I hear you. Writing about the things you like, in any style you choose is the way to go.. Keep it up, I'm good with your "punchy" articles :)

How's Peru btw. I'm not talking out loud here am I. You are there, right? So close to where I am...

Hi, here's my two cents...

I lived in Portugal for quite a while and actually had the chance to be there when the "Euro" was launched. At that time, there were mixed feelings about it as having a "single" currency while an interesting concept was quite difficult to manage. Europe has very different cultures and the rules that were set out while easy for a country like Germany to comply, was not necessarily true for other minor economies like Portugal and Greece. As it so seems, the fears back then are starting to show up now, but I am of the opinion that the "euro" is not going anywhere and that will most likely take years before it stabilizes again. My guess is that the "rules of engagement" will change and that a "governing" body that has actual executive powers will most likely dictate the future of the currency. Problem is that strong economies will want a much larger "power" to control the Eurozone economies and its success will depend if a particular country is prepared to let go of their sovereignty. Too complex to make any sort of predictions, really, but I do hope that they get their act together sometime soon and find a plan that they can stick to :)

This is awesome. I only know about a third of what is on the list here, and I am certainly going to remedy that now. Curious about #10 though.. There has been some talks about it on Redit and I actually installed it too. Having noticed some "weird" behavior, I decided to take it down. Thanks for putting this together.. good one

Thumbs up for these rules Donna. They are really important and shows that you are a legitimate guest blogger that wants to add value rather than obtain links. I really hate it when people leave comments that "indicates" (sometimes clearly), that they have not even bothered to read the post.

Hi Nile. Thanks for showcasing this list and most importantly for the mention. Like Karen, I think that there must be something that I too am doing right :) With the exception of about 6 people above, which I intend to remedy very quickly, I already follow them all. Congrats everyone who is on the list.

Solid advice Cynthia and good to know to after all the ups and downs you got yourself reinstated. I for one, like Ileane, did not know fully the best practices of Twitter (as defined by them) and OMG, I am a serial Twitter, lol. I will have to lay low on that one too :) Thumbs up and all the best

Great overview. I have been using LiveWriter for a while now and while some may hate it, I simply love it. I like the fact that I can write, edit, etc.. without having to use any resources from my server as it speeds things up.
