Good point on the improving your writing skills thing. Didn't think of that. I guess the same can be said of podcast (audio) and self-made videos/photos. It gives practice to help the person learn/improve on his/her skills.

Yeah, categories do help. I do the same in Google reader and all. But I think for some people, the automation of it will be advantageous. For people who have more or less a fixed schedule, the automation makes it easier.

For example, I recall someone at Podcamp Boston 2 mentioning how he set up different Firefox profiles for different days. The different profiles would open various social networks by default. Basically that helped him create a schedule to manage the many networks he was on.

Yeah, it doesn't really hurt most of the time. Depends on how you fall and how fast you're going. In general it doesn't hurt. And that's a great point, that I should write more about later. =). Haha. And I can't do the toeside thing either.

Yeah. A quote I just found, "You cannot teach a man anything; you can only help him find it within himself." - Galileo. I think that is so true. And the formal education system needs to think in that manner. Instead of teaching, letting the students understand themselves.

I'm looking forward to seeing others' thoughts as well, and hopefully more people will join in the conversation. If you're willing, you could help spread the post, and hopefully more others will come and read, and join in. =).
