If we want just 1 thing to stand behind and rally for and be something everyone can get behind I believe the answer is simple. SOVEREIGNTY! I think anything that goes against this(i.e. global currency) puts on the path of no return. We lose the power of WE THE PEOPLE and subject ourselves to anything and everything. Why would we all not speak up against something that takes the power away from our people and even the government. We will lose our way of life no doubt!
How do you go about becoming an elected official? Maybe the best way to make a difference would be to get into office of some sort. Why can't their be some candidates that go in with no preconceived notions and actually do what the people that voted them in ask them to do. Who cares if your peers in office don't like you for not being corrupt..what could they do except not like you? Its time for people to take back america one politician at a time. The trick is where are the ones to vote for...do what they are sent in to do and tell the truth.
I see Bernanke is saying today that he was talked out of blocking the AIG bonuses. If he were the elected officilal he should be and was representing the americans then he should have spoken up! Why are they always doing these things behind closed doors and keeping things from the public. Who elected these finger pointers...who cares about their individual opinions and feelings. Aren't they there to represent us? Who elected these people? Where are the REAL candidates for us to vote for? Maybe we don't surround them.
I am mad as hell! I am watching Dateline and they are explaining why the economy is the way it is starting with all the mortgage loans. They are blasting all the lenders(who do have alot to do with it) by interviewing some people who are forclosing on their homes...some of whom don't even speak english. Where is their accountability!!! There was a woman who makes 1/4 of what I do and bought a house that was twice as much as mine! Why is that not her fault!! I guess I just don't understand. It is the millkions of people like her that we are bailing out with these so called "toxic assets"! But yet we will phone death threats against the AIG people for a couple Million. What about the Trillions of dollars in bad loans that we paid for. Why isn't anyone upset about that! Let the lenders fail and let the people ruin their own credit by foreclosing! We are all equal in OPPORTUNITY not in results. For those of us who didn't buy a house we couldn't afford..why do we have to bail everyone else out!
I think it is pretty clear what is going on. The government doesn't care that the dollar is collapsing because it fits right in with the plan of going to global currency. What better time to do that when we have nothing to lose because the dollar is worthless!
